ABOUT US

Summit Engineering Services, Inc. (SES) was founded in Park City, Utah in 1997.  Due to increased demand for our services in Salt Lake County, the company was relocated to Salt Lake City in 2000.

Our company objective is to provide the very best in engineering, material testing and special inspection. We pledge to develop and maintain long-term client relationships by consistently delivering quality and value through timely, innovative and cost-effective service. Our team of professionals and technical staff are some of the best in their fields and are dedicated to providing clients with exceptional service and results.

The strength of SES’s organization is built upon client service. Our service focus is client based and project specific. SES’s management structure is designed to meet the needs of our clients by using the project team approach for the execution of all projects. The project team structure is centered on the Project Manager who is the primary point of contact with the client and is responsible for managing the performance of the project team. The Project Manager reviews every critical aspect of assigned projects including detailed review of documents and budget tracking. The Project Manager is fully authorized to administer every aspect of the contract. Our corporate organization, including technical staff, administrative services, financial services, and human resources serves to support the Project Manager in the execution of his/her duties.

 
 

 
PROJECT EXPERIENCE

Granite School District
Performed geotechnical studies and geological hazard evaluation for three school facilities (Wasatch Junior High School, Hillsdale Elementary and the Central Kitchen Commissary). Additionally a number of environmental Phase I assessment have been performed at various sites throughout the Salt Lake Valley.

Carlisle Syntec, Inc.
Performed geotechnical studies on two (2) 150,000 square foot buildings (Phase I and Phase I) for manufacturing roofing products and roof membranes.  Geotechnical study also included subsurface investigation for a rail spur alignment between the two facilities. 

Vernal City
SES performed materials testing and special inspections for new city office building in Vernal, Utah.

 Sinclair Oil Corporation

Materials testing for new asphalt parking lot.  Field-testing services provided included soil density testing, concrete air entrainment and slump, and asphalt density testing. Laboratory testing provided included gradation and Proctor density, concrete compressive strength, asphalt gradation and Marshal density.
